Skechers Men's Verdict Waterproof Work Boots - Comfortable & Durable Steel Toe Boots for Construction, Hiking & Outdoor Work

I bought a pair of these boots two years ago and they are still in great shape. This pair was 56% off so I had to get them.The boots I ordered are to replace an old pair of Skechers boots I had for years, that they no longer make (Sad)....The Boots are what I expected, I am wearing them as I type this.....I have no issue with the product, I have issue with any company that changes my method of payment, if I knew they were going to do that, I would have cancelled the order and bought them somewhere else.....They pissed off this customer....I like the shoe but I would need to order a half size up or maybe even a full size up .The chocolate color doesn't come in 10 1/2 . I normally take a size 10. I like the chocolate color so decided to keep the shoes and break them in.The description does not say something about slip resistant but actually they are very good in that and waterproof. I have to wait little longer and see if really gonna last.Good for the price.Great fit, and very comfy for a boot.Muy buenas las botasThese boots weee nicer than expected. They were a gift that really met a need for support and durability. Great boots!My normal choice of boot was timberlands and sometime Caterpillars. However as both these brands have rocketed in price I decided to shop around.when I came across these sketchers. Costing a lot less than my usual boot I was not expecting too much.I've had these boots for over 4 months now. I wear them everyday and walk over 20k a day in all weathers. Not only have they held up great they are out performing the more expensive brands I'd been using for years.As long as sketchers continue to make this exact boot. I will continue to buy these from now on.These Boots arrived on time and well packed. I made good use of the size guide ,which seems accurate.I ordered a UK size 12 ( EU 47.5 & USA 13) perfect fit . With reasonable thick woolly sock I was till able to wiggle my toes and move a little. In normal socks the fitting was still comfortable. My foot width is 4 1/2" inches and the boots did not pinch but fitted comfortably so I would say a broad foot could be suitable for these boots. The tongue to the boots is very well padded. The toe cap below the outer leather feels like a extra hardened shell but its not obvious from the outside. The inner sole of the boots is nicely padded. Overall this is fantastic value for money I would say. I have not been able to test the waterproof claim . The weight of the boots is not overly heavy but in keeping with their size and construction . They are not light weight a little heavier than most I have worn. I will test the waterproofness later in the year. A great buy.I purchased these Boots in Aug 2020 and now I can update my review.These are Waterproof in my opinion. Es verano y no puedo juzgar el "andar con ellas".Son fuertes y de calidad indiscutible. Su puntera es dura, pero las pones y apenas lo notas.Las he probado, son MUY comodas y quedan un "pelin" grandes. Te sube unos 4 cm. la altura, cosa que agradeces y sinceramente,me parecen una autentica salvajada de botas.Tuve unas Panama que me duraron unos 10 años y estas me da... que van a ser lo mismo. Y con una diferencia a favor de mi bolsillo.Y las compre al cojer unos botines Vans y quedarme éstos, grandes.Por cierto recuerda que son botas WATERPROOF:Waterproof es un tratamiento que se le da al calzado para que quede impermeabilizado. Su principal ventaja es que va a repeler el agua y no va a permitir que se introduzca en nuestras botas. Por lo tanto, son optimas para usar en zonas donde la lluvia es moderada.Recomendables 100%.Si te ha servido para algo el comentario, dale por favor al voto util.GRACIASIn the past I have had boots from ShoeZone and other off the shelf shoe retailers and I always found that the boots where either a little too big and I had to do the laces up tighter or they where too small, but with these boots I find they are just right. Don't really have to do the laces up all that tight at all. They are warm, hard wearing and comfortable. Do be warned if you do the laces up too tight they can squash your foot a little, from my experience at least which can be quiet unpleasant after a while as it can cause your feet to become achy but just bear that in mind and these shoes are pretty good fit. Didn't take long to wear them in either which is nice and they are not overly heavy like steel toe capped ones I have had in the past where they have made my ankles ache after a day of walking.Over all I would say they are good boots, just make sure they fit and don't do the laces up too tightly as they will hug your feet.As soon as they arrived they were out of the box. Took the dog for a walk in them. Look good, feel good. The soles of the feet are sore from the last pair of boots I wore this morning.(Now binned) The build quality, memory insole , air cooled, sound more like a Porsche. Looking forward to a good walk with them on. Worn them twice, slightly on the tight side for a 9!Update after 2 weeks settled in to these boots. In the list of my top 3 boots I place these no 3 after a pair of Altberg Peacekeeper boots 2nd, and a pair of Meindl which were £90 about 14 years ago. Definitely up there for comfort and wear. UPDATE: Worn these everyday since they arrived brilliant pair of boots.Further update: Sadly walked through a wet field of grass and the boots didn't cope the front leather turned orange. I have since boot a pair of Hoggs work boots far superior.
