When I buy jeans, I like Wranglers. I like the quality and the fit. These Joe's Jeans seem to be several steps higher on the Fashionista scale.I prefer 100% cotton clothing and this pair of pants is 93% with 6% "Elasterell" and 1% Spandex, I guess the latter 2 are for stretch and flexibility. The fabric feels much softer and supple than any of my other denim jeans. It is very comfortable to wear even brand new out of the package - like it has already been washed dozens of times.I'm about 5'9" to 5'10" and 158 pounds. I take a 34 or 36 waist and a 30 inseam in pants depending on brand and style. Because of the "Slim fit" designation, I took these Brixtons in 36. Good move on my part. They fit nicely (though I could use just a bit more "rise") but the legs are waaay long. That's to be expected since the specification gives no inseam length. I cuff them inside the leg so they come down to my shoe like my usual 30 inch inseam. That cuff measures about 3 inches. It stays put, surprisingly, but I might put a stitch or two in there to keep them that way. They have belt loops and accommodate the widest jeans belt that I own. They have the usual assortment of pockets including change pocket. I don't like to wear clothing manufacturers' advertising and the Joe's have none at all - not even the leather patch under the belt in back. The Brixtons do have some fake aging that is used to give them a "broken in" look. This consists of horizontal, irregular stripes of different shades of blue on the upper thigh to emulate repeated creasing. I'd rather Joe skip the special effects and let me do my own aging but it's subtle enough that I don't mind.I've laundered them (machine wash warm, tumble dry medium) and they look as good as when new. There is virtually no wrinkling at all. I could not detect any shrinkage. The fit is still great. These are manufactured in Mexico. The Brixton is a good cross-over between a total straight fit and a slim fit. The upper part is more like a slim fit but the legs are cut straight. The material is stretchy, and the jeans in essence fit like a glove on the body. If you are in between sizes, would go for the smaller size. I like that they are very comfortable to bend, sit, lounge around in the house, as well as go out to office or night out. The stitching is well done, small logo in leather like material on back pocket. Well crafted jeans overall. Made in mexico. They run quite long in the inseam like a 34" - so be prepared to get them shortened - this will add to the cost by 10 to 20 bucks depending on how you get them done and where. While I like the jeans overall, I do feel that getting a good price is important, at the full price of $100 as of writing, I feel they are over-priced, if you get it below the price - I would recommend the jeans.Seeing this is a slim fit, I was concerned that it won't fit my calves and thighs but to my pleasant surprise, this pair of jeans fit just fine. I like that the denim is slightly stretchy. I like the style - the classic blue jeans look. It has the usual front and back pockets. There is one constructive feedback which is the waist seems to be slightly low rise to me. I feel like I constantly have to pull up my pants. When I sit and lean forward, I can reach back and feel my underwear is above the jean's waist. Otherwise, this is a great pair of jeans.Joe’s Jeans does it again with this super comfortable style of jeans. I got these size 36”waist straight and narrow jeans for my husband and he loves them! He says they are the most comfortable of all his jeans, and they feel good to wear. Plus they look really good on him! The denim is like a peached cotton, and with elastane as one of the fabric components these jeans have some stretch including the waistband. They have 5 pockets as other jeans, button close at waist, and 5 belt loops that will accommodate a belt up to 2.75” wide. The fly zipper works well. The only thing is the 34” length was a bit long for my husband who is 6 feet tall, but the waist fits perfect so we are very happy with these and may hem the bottom.I am including the actual measurements of this garment laying on a flat surface if it may help with your purchasing decision (also including circumference where applicable):Waist: 18.5” / 37” (46.99/93.98 cm)Inseam: 33.5” (85.09 cm)Front rise: 10.75” (27.3 cm)Back rise: 14.5” (36.83 cm)Leg opening: 8” / 16” (20.32/40.64 cm)Outseam (from top of waistband): 43” (109.22 cm)**For reference, model is 6 ft tall and weighs 210 lbs. These jeans are comfortable and fit great with plenty of stretch to the material. They are prewashed and very soft. The 36 size has a very long inseam. They don't look bad cuffed but standard sized inseams would have worked much better. I'm not sure that the premium price is justified for these jeans but they do feel good. These jeans are great. Well made they are true to size. There is plenty of pocket room. The fabric is comfortable. The fit is slim without being constricting. The straight leg is flattering.Sturdy yet stylish they are a welcome addition to my wardrobe.Got these for my teenage son and he loves them. They're very comfortable, with a good amount of stretch to ensure a somewhat customized fit. The sizing is accurate and they look nice. Seem to be of very good quality. I'm not inclined to spend more than forty dollars on a pair of jeans, so these aren't within my normal budget. My son, however, sometimes has pricier tastes than I do and is willing to put some of his money toward costlier items. If these are in your budget, go for it: they look good, fit good, and are well made.Skinny jeans without the ride up. The pockets are a little shallow, but not too bad. I would have liked some extra pockets on the side, but for a casual friday at work, they work well. Wear for school or out with friends but not for work projects.
