Comfort wise, these are my favorites. I got the XL and have a 40" waist. They're not too tight or loose. The pouch size is nice and roomy. Very comfortable. The material going up the back is the same smooth "silky" material that the pouch is made of. So the material doesn't rub back there. I bought some other thongs that had clasps on them and they are my favorites for sexiness. But these are more comfortable to me and my wife likes me in these also. I've bought 3 pair. One pair started to unravel where the "silk" connects to the elastic band but I caught it in time and it was easy enough to stich up.
